Deleting Your Account

In plain English​

When you delete your Qpher Vault account:

  • For the first 30 days, you can change your mind and get it back.
  • After 30 days, your account is gone and we cannot help you get it back.
  • Your files and vault contents are permanently removed at day 30, with encrypted backups purged within another 14 days.
  • If you are paying for a plan, you are charged until the end of your current billing period. No new charges happen after that.

Who can use this​

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Qpher Vault iOS app. If you are a parent who believes your child under 13 has opened an account, please email privacy@qpher.ai and we will delete it promptly.

Step-by-step (iOS)​

  1. Open Qpher Vault on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm with Face ID / Touch ID / password (re-authentication required).
  4. You are signed out and returned to the sign-in screen.

At this point your account is scheduled for deletion but still recoverable.

During the 30-day grace​

  • You cannot sign in normally — sign-in attempts show "Account Scheduled for Deletion".
  • If you tap Restore Account, your account is reactivated immediately.
  • If you tap Sign Out, the app returns to the welcome screen and your account remains scheduled for deletion.

Billing during the grace​

Your subscription is scheduled to cancel at the end of your current billing period. If the current billing period ends during the grace window, the subscription terminates and no further charges occur. If you restore before the billing period ends, your subscription resumes. If you restore after the billing period has ended, you may re-subscribe from Settings → Billing at any time.

No prorated refund is issued for the current period upon deletion. Your existing 7-day refund right in the Refund Policy is unaffected.

After 30 days​

Your account is permanently removed from Qpher's active systems. Your vault documents, encryption keys, account metadata, and session tokens are all deleted. Backup copies are purged within a further 14 days per our Privacy Policy §7.

After this point, restoration is not possible.

Admin-removed accounts​

If your organization administrator removes you, the grace window is 10 minutes (a safety buffer, not a user-recovery window).

If you believe your removal was unauthorized, contact your organization administrator or email support@qpher.ai immediately. Your personal vault account (if you had one outside the organization) is unaffected.

Right to accelerated deletion​

You may request deletion faster than 30 days:

  • EEA residents: GDPR Article 17
  • UK residents: UK-GDPR Article 17
  • California residents: CCPA §1798.105
  • Other jurisdictions: see Privacy Policy §7.3

Email privacy@qpher.ai with your account email and an explicit request for accelerated deletion. We verify and process within 30 calendar days.

Apple App Store compliance​

This in-app deletion path satisfies Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) account-deletion requirement.
