Account & Settings
Manage your Qpher Vault account, subscription plan, and security settings from the Account tab.
Subscription Plansâ
Your current plan determines storage limits, feature access, and monthly quotas. You can view and upgrade your plan from the Account tab.

To upgrade:
- Go to the Account tab
- Tap your current plan
- Select a new plan and confirm
Payment is handled through Apple In-App Purchase or Stripe (web).
Biometric Lockâ
Protect your vault with Face ID or Touch ID:
- Go to Account > Settings
- Toggle Biometric Lock on
When enabled, the app locks when you switch away and requires biometric authentication to unlock.
The app automatically locks when it goes to the background if biometric lock is enabled.
Change Passwordâ
If you signed up with email and password, you can change your password from inside the app without going through the email reset flow:
- Go to Account > Settings
- Tap Change Password
- Enter your current password and a new password
- If you have MFA enabled, enter a code from your authenticator app when prompted. If you do not have MFA enabled, enter your current password in the verification dialog.
- Tap Save
The verification dialog is there to prevent anyone who temporarily has access to your signed-in session from locking you out. Cancelling the dialog leaves your password unchanged.
After a successful password change, all of your existing sessions â on this device and every other device â are automatically signed out for security. You will need to log in again with your new password.
This in-app change-password flow is new in 2026-04. Before that, changing a password required using the Forgot Password email link; that flow still works and is the right path if you cannot sign in.
Forgot Passwordâ
If you forgot your password:
- On the login screen, tap Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for the reset link
- Set a new password
Your encryption keys are managed server-side and are not derived from your password. Resetting your password does not affect your ability to decrypt existing files.
Sign Outâ
To sign out:
- Go to Account > Settings
- Tap Sign Out
Your encrypted files remain safely stored in the cloud. Sign back in to access them again.
Delete Accountâ
To permanently delete your account and all data:
- Go to Account > Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm by typing your email address
Deleting your account permanently removes all your encrypted files, keys, and account data. This cannot be undone.
