Account & Settings

Manage your Qpher Vault account, subscription plan, and security settings from the Account tab.

Subscription Plans

Your current plan determines storage limits, feature access, and monthly quotas. You can view and upgrade your plan from the Account tab.

To upgrade:

  1. Go to the Account tab
  2. Tap your current plan
  3. Select a new plan and confirm

Payment is handled through Apple In-App Purchase or Stripe (web).

Biometric Lock

Protect your vault with Face ID or Touch ID:

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Toggle Biometric Lock on

When enabled, the app locks when you switch away and requires biometric authentication to unlock.

Auto-lock

The app automatically locks when it goes to the background if biometric lock is enabled.

Change Password

If you signed up with email and password:

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Tap Change Password
  3. Enter your current password and a new password
  4. Tap Save

Forgot Password

If you forgot your password:

  1. On the login screen, tap Forgot Password
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your inbox for the reset link
  4. Set a new password
Password reset does not affect your encrypted files

Your encryption keys are managed server-side and are not derived from your password. Resetting your password does not affect your ability to decrypt existing files.

Sign Out

To sign out:

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Tap Sign Out

Your encrypted files remain safely stored in the cloud. Sign back in to access them again.

Delete Account

To permanently delete your account and all data:

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Tap Delete Account
  3. Confirm by typing your email address
This action is irreversible

Deleting your account permanently removes all your encrypted files, keys, and account data. This cannot be undone.
