Step 2: Create Your Account
- Open the app and tap Sign Up
- Choose your sign-up method:

Step 4: Encrypt Your First File
Once your account is set up, you'll see an empty document list:
- Tap the + button in the top-right corner
- Select Encrypt File
- Choose a file from your device (photo, PDF, document, etc.)
- The file is automatically encrypted and stored in your vault
That's it! Your file is now protected with quantum-safe encryption.
What Happens During Encryption?
When you encrypt a file, Qpher Vault:
- Generates a random AES-256-GCM encryption key (DEK)
- Encrypts your file with the DEK
- Wraps the DEK using X-Wing KEM (post-quantum key encapsulation)
- Uploads the encrypted file to secure cloud storage
- The private key stays in the server-side KMS — it never touches your device
Your keys are safe
Private keys never leave the server-side secure environment. Even if your device is compromised, your encryption keys remain protected.
