Billing & Payments
Qpher uses Stripe as its payment processor. All payment forms are hosted by Stripe, which means Qpher never sees or stores your credit card numbers.
Billing is managed through the Dashboard at portal.qpher.ai. Navigate to Settings > Subscription to view your plan, usage, and payment methods.
Billing Cycles

Your billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe to a paid plan. If you start a 14-day trial, billing begins when the trial ends (assuming you add a payment method).
Free Tier
The Free plan requires no credit card. You can use Qpher's PQC APIs indefinitely with Free tier limits (5,000 API calls/month, 1 API key, 1 PQC key per algorithm).
Subscribing to a Paid Plan
- Log in to the Dashboard at portal.qpher.ai.
- Navigate to Settings > Subscription.
- Select the plan you want.
- Complete payment through the Stripe-hosted checkout page.
- Your plan is activated immediately, and your quotas are updated.
Upgrading Your Plan
You can upgrade your plan at any time. When you upgrade:
- Your new plan's quotas take effect immediately.
- You are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
- No data or keys are lost during the upgrade.
Downgrading Your Plan
You can downgrade your plan at any time. When you downgrade:
- The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You continue to have access to your current plan's features until then.
- If you have more API keys or PQC keys than the new plan allows, you will need to revoke or archive the excess before the downgrade takes effect.
After a downgrade, if your resource counts exceed the new plan's limits, new operations that would create additional resources will be denied until you are within the limits.
Cancellation
To cancel your subscription:
- Navigate to Settings > Subscription in the Dashboard.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
- Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your account is downgraded to the Free plan.
Cancellation does not delete your account, keys, or data. You can resubscribe at any time.
Invoices
Invoices are generated automatically for every payment. You can view and download invoices from the Dashboard:
- Navigate to Settings > Invoices.
- Each invoice shows the date, amount, payment status, and line items.
- Click Download PDF to save a copy for your records.
All invoices are digitally signed using Qpher's own Dilithium3 PQC signatures. A verification badge is displayed next to each signed invoice.
Payment Methods
Qpher supports credit and debit cards through Stripe. To manage your payment methods:
- Navigate to Settings > Payment Methods in the Dashboard.
- Add a new card, set a default, or remove an existing card.
Qpher never stores your card details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card information goes directly to Stripe's servers.
